Protect/secure a transform
I have a transform file which contains a password in plain text, in a property. Is there any way to secure the contents of this transform beyond applying NTFS permissions? I could insert some script as a custom action which would decrypt the contents of an encrypted password property. However, if I use vbscript or similar, a user could extract the script and run it against the encrypted password.

VBscript allows you to encode the .vbs file to a .vbe file.
You could try this, no guarantee if it'll work because it may not execute the vbscript properly during the custom action, but nothing ventured.....
