Proofing tools Sp3
Hi All,
Summary:
Office2003 Proofing tools is deployed in our env. I am trying to upgrade it to Sp3, with an .msp file. The person who packaged the proofing tools application, somehow deleted a child feature from the msi ( and left the comp)[:@] . Now, the problem is when i am trying to install the patch, its thorwing error 2711- "The specified Feature name ('[2]') not found in Feature table" and it is failing. Its searching the deleted child feature.
Suggest how to upgrade [8|].

Patching individual clients is too, too painful...
- Download the proofing tools again
- Extract the MSI
- Make sure you have the exact same product (match the ProductCode)
- Create an Administrative Installation Point (AIP)
- Apply the patch to the AIP
- Create a transform, if required
- Re-deploy the package with REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=vomus
- Download the proofing tools again
