Problems installing Shockwave 11.0.0.458

I've successfully used GP to roll out Shockwave installs to my public computers. However, the latest release is giving me fits. I followed my normal steps of creating an Administrative install (msiexec /a) on a shared directory, creating a new GPO that pointed to the admin. point and included a reference to the previous install GPO and setting it to uninstall the previous version before installing the latest version. When I boot up my computers, everything appears to run correctly and checking the Event Viewer, the events report that the install was run and the previous version is reported as being uninstalled.

When I check it against the Adobe page that displays the player version, it still shows the previous release. When I check the files in C:\windows\system32\Adobe\..., it still shows the previous version uninstalled. I've tried changing install order but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any ideas on what might be up and how to correct it?
