Problem with MSN live(8) MSI install with GPO

I got a problem with the installation of MS Messenger Live
I got the msi-file in %temp% and made a mst-file with exclusion (toolbar, etc)

I can easily install the package with msiexec /i msnlive.msi transforms=msnlive.mst /qb

But when I try to do it through AD using GPO, the installation fails

First eventviewer error:
ID:101
the assignment of application msnlive from policy messengerlive failed. The error was : Fatal error during installation

Second eventviewer error:
ID:103
The removal ofassignment of application msnlive from policy messengerlive failed. The error was : Fatal error during installation

3th eventviewer error:
ID:108
Failed to apply changes to software installation settings. Software xhanges could not be applied. A previous log entry with details should exist. The error was : Fatal error during installation

4th eventviewer error:
ID:1085
The Group Policy client-side extension Software Installation failed to execute. Please look for any errors reoirted earlier by that extension.

Any suggestions ?

The Package Knowledge Base articles for

MSN Messenger 6.x

and

MSN Messenger 7.x

regarding AD deployment of this application would also seem to be applicable to your own version of the application.

Having just downloaded the MSN Live (8) installer and looked at the MSI file, I notice that the main feature in the MSI, MsgrFeat has attributes set to 24 which will disallow advertising.

Further, the AdvtExecuteSequence table is absent from the base package, as supplied by Microsoft.

If you take a look at the links above, they should enable you can get around these issues.
