Printer Driver Package

Hello,
I have to develop a package for 'usb' printer drivers. I need your suggestion on how can it be done. I have follwed following procedures..but in vain

1. Copied driver files into msi and used custom action to install driver files and the CA i used is a command line
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "Zebra TLP3842" /f "c:\Seagull\Zebra.inf" /m "Zebra TLP3842" /r "lpt1:" /q
I was not able to use above procedure because port usb001: cannot be added to port switch
2. also used a document for driver package using DIFxApp merge module....Not working because at no point i have a chance to say to install driver only for a particular model

Infact First procedure have worked good if i use lpt1 port but when i hook printer's usb it ask for printer drivers

Please help as i need to make automated pack for these drivers, any command line will also work for me..waiting for ur response

Thanks in advance

Couple ideas:
1) MSI might not be the best way to install this since you're really doing a custom action to call the vendor install
2) see if vendor install has silent way to to command line

Maybe you can get the driver files themselves (not the driver installation files) and create the MSI with those files.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
