Pre-installing device drives for PnP devices

I am going to working on PnP device drivers first time..
Can we use SetupAddToSourceList and SetupCopyOEMInf methods to Add inf to source list and to copy them to windows\inf folder?
What is the need for creating a property called DRIVER (which contain the path of the inf file) in property table.

Make your life easy: download the DifXApp merge module from Microsoft and use that.

Before you do anything else, read and inwardly digest Phil Wilson's The Definitive Guide To Windows Installer.
