Power point Viewer 2010

Hi,
I want to deploy Power point Viewer 2010 but unable to find MSI package for this software on internet.
I use GPO to deploy app on computers so without MSI i don't know how to do.
Help me please.

Thanks,

You can either extract the contents of the PowerPointViewer.exe using your favourite zip file management tool, or run the file and when you get to the first installation dialogue grab the extracted files from 'C:\Program Files\MSECache\PPTViewer' and then cancel the installation.

Then you can tranform the MSI and deploy through GPO.

Hope that helps,

Extrac the contents is what i have do. But in the extracted forder contain msi and cab files.
PPviewer.msi = 1Mo
ppviewer.cab = 60 Mo
I think msi file cannot work without cab file.
Must i copy all files in one folder on the network and deploy only msi file ????

That's right - the MSI file refers back to the cabinet file for its main payload.

Put them all in a deployment folder and give GPO the MSI file and it will be able to access the CAB file.

Thanks,

That's okay - don't forget to rate posts that you may have found useful [;)]
