Persistent USMT Warning

On my dashboard is the following warning:

Warning
USMT failed to scan some of the user states. Click here to view failure logs.

We do not really use USMT. This warning comes from our jumpstart training, when the trainer set up one attempt at a USMT scan that failed. Ever since, this warning has appeared on my dashboard, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it. Clicking the "Click here" link only gives me the ability to view the failure logs, which does nothing to dismiss the warning.

  • I have asked this question also. We have had the warning for 3 years now. Apparently there is no way to remove it! I would have thought the admin logon would have those rights but it would seem not. Perhaps things have changed since I last asked?? Maybe??? Hopefully???? - hoodathunkut 7 years ago
  • Yep, I've been seeing this error forever also - JasonEgg 7 years ago

I just clicked on the x to close the window and it went away. I also wondered about this and started searching for answers.
