Permanently disable "Validate Security Certificate" in advanced properties of the Wireless adapter.

Hiya,

I have a quick one, I am in a little rutt and hoping for a solution.

Basically scenario is there are 35 laptops, Dell 6520's, 27 are auto enabling Validate Security Certifite under advanced in netowrk adapter properties, I disable the check box, restart and find that it is auto enabled and can not connect wirelessly when it is enabled.

I have installed the same SOE which is a vanilla Dell win 7 64 with all drivers,

The wlan cards are Intel 6205 wireless N.

The hard ware that I can connecting to are a combination of HP Procurve Switches and HP Access Points.

I have tried loggin in as admin on one of the laptops that are not saving this setting and is still there after a restart.

There is no AD currently and therefor means no Group Policies.

If you have any ideas that I can check I would love some suggestions,

Cheers
