Patching Adobe Reader set it back to the default PDF reader
Whenever we apply an Adobe Reader patch (which is often) and a user has a different PDF reader set as the default, the patch sets Adobe Reader back to being the default PDF reader. Some of our users prefer Foxit reader and set it as their default. One solution is to uninstall Adobe Reader, but I'm wondering if there's a different way to deal with this problem.
I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this question. I know that KACE is just passing along the patches supplied from another company.

Uninstall sounds like a win-win since they aren't using it.
You could have a separate script that persists for machines running fox it to set it as a default. I'm assuming that there is a registry entry or config file you can track (as a custom inventory rule) and update somewhere
