Dear IT Ninja Guys/Girls,

i have encountered a problem with patching Schedule, in my patch tasks status still always in "error (Handshake Failed)"
my current version of my server 6.2.109330

i have check on my folder :C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\KACE

but seems windependencies.ospx doesn't exist

i have activated debug mode : in my log
DownloadFile: Downloaded C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\KACE\windependencies.ospx from smb://domain;user:xxxxxx@IP/kace1000/repl2/patches/windependencies.ospx.03e7bbfaf41e9e704a997bc66d38338a Download speed: 335220 bytes/second

seems when i try to launch a shedule patch -> windependencies.ospx could not be donwload from my server, on my server the file exist

i do not get it .....

if i download it manually and change name to windependencies.ospx and create a new file windependencies.ospx.checksum (with ID 03e7bbfaf41e9e704a997bc66d38338a inside file) and put their on my folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\KACE
patch schedule work............

do you have ideas why ?

Thanks to all
have a good day

Failed file hash generally means the download didn't complete or was corrupted in the download.

I'd make sure you are patching outside of the K1000 backup window and that the client can resolve both the K1000 hostname and web server addresses.

Also, make sure to whitelist the K1000 executables for patching. There is a KB article for this.
