Patch Error 40 on K1000 6.2.109330

Have a specific patch which is failing with error 40, critical security patch which must be installed on our 2003 systems.

Opened a ticket with Dell support who recommended I review this KB: http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/article/what-does-fail-40-error-message-means-during

The KB seems to contain instructions for 5.3 which are not applicable on 6.2, I attempted to follow the instructions but could not get past step 1.  I realize this is an issue with the package import but cannot find any guidance on re-importing the package on 6.2.

Any help is appreciated!
