PALM DESKTOP 4.1 - USB Serial install

Hi all, I am trying to work on Palm Desktop, to change the INstall Dialog From defaluting to USB Cradle install to Serial. I have checked the Dialog property and it is USBCOMSELECTIONRADIOGRP - i have tryed setting this in property table to Serial but it still defaults to USB and I have tried deleting the property and this doesnt work either - does any one have a suggestion - if so can you email me at cormacq@hotmail.com or can you post a message. Thankx

Hmmnn...

As a first step in troubleshooting this, try setting the property from the command-line and see if overrides the property table:

msiexec /i YOURMSI USBCOMSELECTIONRADIOGRP=YourValue

Alternatively, see if there is something in the MSI script that's setting the value automatically - maybe a custom action?

WISE Package Studio 5.1 - not my choice - I prefer Installshield but what do you do!
