Package Creation Software?
I'm looking to create a more efficient process in implementing our standard footprint in regards to the installation of software. Is there software available that will allow me to install multiple applications unattended, I assume something like an answer file? Basically I want to create packages with the configurations already set without me having to manually configure the software. I hope this makes sense. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

no offence but judging by that post your quite new.
Windows installer is your best bet.
windows installer 4.5 allows multiple package transactions however its only available in vista and later OS's.
there are plenty of deployment tools that can handle dependancy chaining etc. If your looking for something a little more simple I have some scripts which use xml as input to trigger chaining EXE / MSI installations into a single script. However you should really invest in something like SMS / Altiris / Landesk etc
when you refer to your standard footprint what are you meaning ? reg keys describing the app ? or somethign else ?
