Outlook 2003 packagin
Hi,
Is it necessary to use the ORK to create mst for outlook2003 msi.
My requirment is to do the default silent installation of outlook 2003.
Can I simply create one .mst file without using the ORK.
Will it work fine.
Please suggest.
PS: I wanted to avoid using ORK as this is a a default installation and also using ORK create various unwanted entries in .mst.

please advise if you know why it is important to use ORKIt's because Office MSIs are extremely complex (hence my "masochist" comment). The ORK knows how to "talk" to it.

Impatient, aren't you? Truthfully, expecting an answer inside 30 minutes is totally unrealistic but you just happened to catch me at a slack time.

using ORK create various unwanted entries in .mst.So just remove them...

Anyway, thanks for your reply.
Just wanted to check why it is necessary to use ORK. I can create my .mst file using orca and using this .mst my outlook installs fine.
