Outlook 2003 - Adding new account to existing profile using PRF
hello,
well, i guess the subject of this message says it all [:)] however, just to clarify further, here is what i need.
I need to create a separate PRF file that adds a Microsoft Exchange Server account to the existing default profile on the Outlook client 2003. How can i do this? is there any setting in the PRF File itself that needs to be modifies?
I shall be greatful for your help.

hi,
well i shall be using ORK but my business case is to add the profile on already deployed outlook client. For the existing email accounts, i need to add another account. What changes in the PRF files are required apart from the regular server settings.
I need to keep the same profile but another account needs to be added. Moreover, this added account needs to be the default account for sending and receiving mails.
Thanks.

Can you not just snapshot the differences post new PRF creation on the client and create and .msi to deploy this? As long as no files are updated within the Outlook Client to trigger a repair this in theory should work being deployed to existing Outlook clients. I'm not an Outlook expert so can't say this will work for sure.
