Hello Friends,

Can you please tell me if there exists an Office Resource Toolkit for Microsoft 2007 applications?

Cheers [:)]

Have you heard of the very latest thing in Internet circles, search engines? There's a rather well-known one called 'Google': it's jolly useful.

http://www.google.com

Enter the search term 'Office +2007 +Resource +kit' and, by some miracle, the first hit is exactly what you're looking for.

The ORK for office 2007 is built into the setup routine, I think that all you need to do is to run the setup.exe with the /admin command.

From a command line, run the setup.exe within the folder, with the setup.exe /admin.

This will not install the program on that machine, it will bring up the customization wizard. You make all your changes, then save.

When you deploy the program, you just run setup.exe and it will apply your changes.

(And, btw, when I googled this, I got the MS site, which makes it look suspiciously like you need to download a separate program to customize this- and the first Getting Started document contains the following:

This section is under construction at this time. The content will provide information you need to determine when and how to implement your deployment of the 2007 Office release.)

Have fun!
