Organizing system images K2000?

We use system images for not only new pc deployments but also pc backups of users.  Is there a way to create folders to keep the user images separate from the bare bone images?

thanks in advance

You can create labels Settings>Control Panel> Labels. You can apply these labels to the images. You can then "View By" the labels you created.

  • I guess what Im looking for is so that after you choosed which KBE you need, and it takes you to the deploy image option, the user images dont show up as options only the system images. Not sure if Im asking the right question.. - chays33 10 years ago
    • You will only see images of the same architecture of the KBE you booted to. So x64 images need to boot to x64 KBE.

      • Corey,
Is it possible to create a KBE to point directly to a RSA using the KBE Manipulator? So if the user images and system images were on separate RSAs should they only see those? - dugullett 10 years ago
  • That is possible, yes. So are you implying that they setup 2 RSAs at the same location as the K2. Users select their boot env., admin's another? Since they would have hard coded IP addresses to connect to the appropriate RSA, both boot environments would have to be on the RSA, but once they loaded, it would point to different servers. You could not stop a user from loading an admin boot env. though.Other than that, it would definitely work. - cserrins 10 years ago
