Oracle 10g Answer File problem

Hi there,

I am trying to get a nice clean silent install of Oracle 10g together. I did record an answer file for my customers needs, but it did not include the (selected) OraODBC. Also, the sample answer file does not state a dependency for the ODBC part. I found out by checking the installer that the dependency name is oracle.winprod:10.2.0.1.0. But when I manually add this to the end of the dependency list, the silent installer upon install states, that it installs ODBC, but it's not there.
Has anyone any experience with this?

In the end I filed a SR with Oracle and got the solution. Posted in Package Knowledge base.
