Oracle 10 client

Help, please!

I'm trying to create a response file for the Oracle Universal(hah!) Installer, but my machines lock up after cancelling out of the Net Configuration Assistant. I'm using the command line from the AppDeploy article: setup.exe -record -destinationfile c:\file.rsp. The Task Manager shows javaw.exe using all available CPU cycles.

Any ideas?

Whenever I have to work with the OUI (and anything else java based) I have to temporarily disable McAfee services to speed things up. (Mcshield, Mctaskmanager, and Mcafeeframework services).

Try disabling your AV product to see if that helps...
