Opera 9.0.2

Hi,

Just started out in packaging so I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I'm currently packaging Opera and attempting to do this so that the 'first run' page does not appear when Opera is loaded for the first time. Looking through the settings for opera6.ini I can't see any option to disable the feature, but the first run page can supposedly be changed using the following line in the [install] section.

[Install]
One Time Page = <url>

I have tried using this in the operadef6.ini file in the install directory and also tried placing opera6.ini into System32 as the file should then override any user settings. Unofrtunately nothing so far has worked as Opera will load the first run page unless there is an instance of opera6.ini in the user profile. Adding this into the package isnt an option as the file would have to be recreated for every new user that logs on to the machine.

Any ideas?

I tried specifying the "One Time Page=" setting in C:\Windows\System32\Opera6.ini but this didn't work for me, either. This particular setting doesn't concern me that much right now because Opera just refuses to use our proxy servers. Firefox is fine, but Opera won't play ball. My classrooms might only be getting Firefox and IE, sadly.
