Office 2010 Updates

Hi!

I am deploying an install of office 2010 to customers. In an effort to reduce the time it takes from f12 is pressed to a functioning and patched system is available, we want to include the office updates since sp1 in the installation package rather than waiting for WSUS to patch the clients.

How can I accomplish this the best way?

Take a look at the 'Updates' folder in your installation media.

You will need to download/obtain the MSP files for the patches and place them in this folder. The patches will then be installed at the end of your Office installation.

Hope that helps,

Yeah, thanks! Seems like such a common problem, isn't there a more automated way, e.g. a rollup package that can be applied( I haven't found any) rather than downloading all the updates manually and extracting them?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
