NO operating system information?

Running the latest OS on the Kace K1000 itself plus most updated agent.

2 windows server 2012 R2 servers show no operating system information when I go into Operating system details.

any ideas?  thanks.

Hello,

what happens if you run the following command on the affected servers?
wmic os get Name 

I do not remember if this version of Windows still has the service called Server Service: look for that in the services list and check that it is running.

I get "invalid query"!  Why would that be the case?

Server service is running on both of those domain controllers.

  • I think that the WMI on your server is not working properly and due to the fact that KACE uses loads of WMI queries to fill the inventory data....that could be the most probable reason for your issue.
