New Hire process (Partent-Child) tickets

Hi All,

I was wondering if the below example could be created within K1000. Currently I can only create a main process with child tickets.
Now I want to create a main process with 3 parent tickets and for each parent ticket multiple child tickets as we have multiple departments that are involved.

Multiple departments can do their tasks at the same time. Now my problem is that if I use stages, department 2 and 3 cannot continue before department 1 closed their ticket. Is this possible in K1000 and/or can this be created with a custom rule?

Example:
Main process (grand parent ticket)
Department 1 (sub-process 1) (parent ticket):
Department 2 (sub-process 2) (parent ticket):
Department 3 (sub-process 3) (parent ticket):
- Child ticket 1- Child ticket 1
- Child ticket 1
- Child ticket 2
- Child ticket 2
- Child ticket 2
- Child ticket 3
- Child ticket 3
- Child ticket 3
- Child ticket 4
- Child ticket 4
- Child ticket 4
Thanks for the feedback.

Regards,
Wesley

  • Can't do that today. Each process right now is its own. You can't have a grand parent as you call it and then have sub parents.

Could be a feature request submission.
