net share grant

Hi Friends,

I found that net share /grant command works only in windows 2003 and not on XP.

Is there a way grant with net share work on XP machine as well.

Please suggest.

As is usually the case, there's a much more elegant way: use WMI.

Er...the code is in the post I linked to...and you don't need to be a WMI expert to decipher it, really.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
