Nero 7 Desktop Icons
Anyone knows how to get rid of the desktop icons in Nero 7 (Nero SmartStart and Nero Home)? I´ve run the package in ORCA (even with the mst applied on it) but there is no entries in the Shortcuts table. I also searched for the target in ORCA but nothing! Even when I edited the msi and mst with Wise Package Studio the shortcuts where nowhere to be found.
Greatful for any ideas on the subject[:)]

If it's anything like Nero 6 was, whenever you run the programme, it will automatically recreate a desktop item (Nero Digital online) and rebuild the shortcuts in Start/All Programs/Nero.
Damn annoying.
However, it only appears to do this on some versions. I think it's the ones that come with the drives themselves. If you buy the full retail product I don't think it does this.
I spent a considerable time with Nero technical support trying to get this resolved, but gave up in exasperation with them.
