need help on patching with manual labels

Hi

I'm planning to deploy patches via K1000, I will be applying Critical patches to test machines, then same patches i applied on test machines will be applied to end user machines  once in 2 weeks, which one is best to select Impact = critical or Severity is critical ?

also how can i make sure the patches i applied to test machines are applied to End user machines, no new patches  are deployed to end user machines  other than patches that  applied to TEST machines

Impact is more often populated than Severity, so I would go with "Impact is Critical". You'll also need to think about whether or not to use superseded patches: if you have two "rollout groups" you may wish to use superseded patches so that you don't include untested patches in the end user group.

Since you have the test group and the end user group, you have to create at least two "patch schedules." For details on patch schedules see page 573 and following in the admin guide (PDF link to version 7.1).
