MSI INSTALLS ALL FEATURES FOR ADMIN BUT NOT FOR USER

Hi Guys,

My MSI install all required features when u logon as an admin after installation but when u logon as a normal user after installation it does not install all features.

Do you have any condition set on the features, do the log say anything?

can't find any condition on the features and there's no info on it in the log.

Is there a way i can push ADMIN install in the msi itself?
Is there any CUSTOM ACTION i can use?

Did you create/capture the MSI and in that case what tool?

Is a vendor supplied msi. The setup.exe extracts the installation files to LOCAL SETTING\TEMP. from there i was able to get the vendor msi which uses ISSCRIPT for installation. So i created a transfrom for it.

If there are no conditions in the Condition Table then there may exist an Custom Action changing the install level on the Feature. Compare (log) the admin and user self-healing and verify that the install level are the same on the features that do not get "installed".

Also verfy in the different logs that the INSTALLLEVEL property hasn't been changed

Wot i did was to manually include the files & registry entries needed for the features that were excluded and also created shortcuts for the features. All these were done in my Transform for the Vendor msi.
