Well this isn't a FAQ link, but it does provide a lot of info on Windows Installer as well as some info on WPS (ie. Software Manager and creating Wise Macros).

was gonna suggest juice.altiris.com but redirected so symantec, not sure if they still got forums and kb over there any more, looks like it's all under symantec, go to symantec.com and dig around, they own wise now.

The forums are still going (not a big fan of the layout though). They've just consolidated everything under one location that's all.

They've just consolidated everything under one location that's all.And what a dog's breakfast they've made of it.
- No ability to 'quote' text
- No ability to delete your own posts (!)
- The text is WAY too big
- There are acres of wasted screen real estate
I'm going to stop now...It's yet another object lesson in how not to build a UI.

See me holding up the fingers of one hand? I don't need to use them all to enumerate the new layout's fans.
