mozilla firefox launch error
hi
i have captured mozilla firefox 3.6 with wise package and made some changes in project file .wsi and compiled it to .msi and install it in fresh machine but when i try to launch an application it is showing an error called "couldn't read application.ini".... what is the solution for this ...

Wondering why you are using v3.6 while we have now v19.0.2.
You really don't need an msi because you can do a simpe silent install/uninstall with the following commandline syntax:
Firefox_Setup_19.0.2.exe -ms
C:\program Files\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe" /s

firefox creates a profiles.ini under appdata.......i suspect you might have altered it or removed it......can i have the exact error you are getting during launch..... a snapshot would be preferable - talonsprem87 11 years ago
