Scripting Question

Modify folders within C:\Windows\System32

07/30/2020 253 views

I have a strange issue.  I have some difficulties with some files located in the C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft directory.  They are supposed to be folders, but show up as files.  I need to get rid of them and create the actual folders and sub-folders within them.

I am having difficulty performing a folder changes:

1. Renaming or deleting these files

2. Creating folders in their place

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Are you using the KACE SMA?

Are you using a BATCH script to do that?
    Share it here maybe?

Are those x64 or x86 OS?

Search them within the folder. they can be hidden in the folder, choose the unhide option and search again.
