Microsoft Office Communicator 2007
Hi,
When we install 'Microsoft Office Communicator 2007' with .msp (1.0.64.0), it is removing the (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{2B7E6AA9-C4FA-4951-815B-4AFE39D81453}\InprocServer32) key with values 'C:\Program Files\Messenger\msgsc.dll' and 'ThreadingModel=Apartment'.
My dilemma lies in, should i restore this key at un-installation or not. And If i do not restore what happens, is it affect functionality of some other application etc
Any info in this regard is highly invited.
Thanks in advance
Vishwanath

ORIGINAL: vishwanath_xIf you dug a bit deeper, I think you'd find that the key is connected with Windows Messenger/Windows Live/(whatever-MS-is-calling-that-product-this-week). Thus, I wouldn't worry about it unless you want to restore everything connected with that application.
