Has anyone out there tried making a package out of Microsoft Anti-Spyware? Our company currently uses SpyBot but would like to have another tool to work with. I can make it install silently but can't get all the ridiculous pop-ups to stop annoying the users. I want it to be silent even AFTER install. I could probably go through and find all of the settings but was hoping someone could save me the work. TIA!

Not sure about others here, but I wont be packaging this product while its in beta form.
I would say a fair few people would think the same.
Are you sure you want to deploy this into your production environment?

Yes, I'm sure. My company is cheap enough to not want to go with a REAL enterprise application. I'm finding that SpyBot is good for about 50% of what we need to clean up (which really isn't that much) and we need something else. I couldn't agree more with the "Beta" point and sure would like to use something more tested, but that being said, I have had very good luck with it on every machine I have tested it on (no crashing). Maybe the question should be... Does anyone know of a good freeware, corporate, anti-spyware package?

I would go with the Microsoft one once it's out of beta. However, I won't be packaging this one - it's in their critical updates, so I'm going to push the Microsoft install with SUS or SMS when given the chance.

This app is going to change pretty dramatically in the coming months so don't repackage it as yet. MS havent ironed out some of the hooks they use for their BackOffice suite. If I get an update from MS I'll post it here.
