Is there a method to merge multiple Helpdesk tickets on the same issue or create an event?

Sometime we get multiple tickets on the same issue from different users, would be preferable to merge them and assign to one person.

Is this possible?

There isn't a merger function but you can use the Parent/Child function and make 1 person the owner of the parent and all the tickets for the same issues can be added as a child. Once the issues is fixed you can configure the helpdesk to close the children ticket if the parent one is closed.

awesome, thank you. I discovered "Parent/Child" tickets are not enabled by default, however once enabled is exactly what was needed.
