managed install reasons for failure


I can only see installed or not installed status, how can i find why MI  has not installed successfully on few machines?

If I recall correctly, McAfee Agent uses an MSI - although it may be wrapped in an EXE - so you can specify a verbose log for that:

    msiexec /I [path_to_and_name_of_MSI] [other command line arguments] /l*v %WinDir%\TEMP\Install_McAfee_Agent.LOG

I don't know the iBoss Agent so I can't help you with that. I can't imagine that it wouldn't have the ability to create an installation log. Check the documentation/deployment guide.

Here I go, swinging on out on my well documented limb again but how about looking at the application's installation log? You didn't specify one? Oops!
