Making sh file executable.

I'm working to make my sh file executable for the Kace online script.  What is the best practice in doing so?  Do I make the .sh file executable then upload to the k1000 or do I upload the .sh file to the k1000 and make the file executable in the parameters field of the online script?

  • Thank you. I have an online shell script setup successfully. Unfortunately, I cannot deploy via labels due to a bug on the Kace side and Kace said the next release 9.1 will resolve. They recommend I do this via online kace script as a workaround. - fleminsa 5 years ago
    • you should ask support to put you on the beta test for 9.1 so you can test that out ahead of general release. I have done many beta's and they are tethered to you so if you run into a problem due to beta testing they are on it ASAP - SMal.tmcc 5 years ago
