MAC machine doesnt check-in
Hello,
I have 3 mac machines different versions. After I installed the agent and performed force inventory, devices doesnt check-in. All windows machines are working fine except for all MAC machines. base on device log, it does check-in but in the Inventory-Devices, it doesnt update the IP and doesnt update the last inventory. Mac with static ip, also doesnt update inventory. Performed reinstallation of agent but still doesnt work. Turn off MAC firewall, still the same.
Any suggestions?

Does the /Library/Application Support/Dell/KACE/data/amp.conf file have the host line pointing to your KBox? - chucksteel 9 years ago

Ok, what version of the agent? What happens when you manually run this?: sudo /Library/Application\ Support/Dell/KACE/bin/runkbot 2 0
What are the results of the rest of the testing in that article? - jknox 9 years ago-
6.3. Mac is 10.7 and some 10.10... yes run runkbot but still the same issue. one of the mac shows check-in but not in the inventory devices. Have you encounter it before? - lalako88 9 years ago

Hi jknox,
52230 is listening, data folder contains everything, able to ping, scan port etc. After long troubleshooting, found out that it might be the domain in the network settings. After changing the domain, mac able to check-in. So far looks everything is working fine. THanks for your help. - lalako88 9 years ago
