Looking for a solution on running Win 2000/XP application on Win7
I am looking for a possible solution to run Win 2000 application on Win7. When installing on Win7 getting an error message: ERROR: LoadLibrary() failed while registering file 'C:\Windows\System32\msadox.dll'. I am looking into creating a software package (MSI) using Wise Package Studio 8 that would install and run under Win 7 OS. Would virtual packaging provide the necessary OS isolation solution to run Win2000 app on Win 7?

Have you looked into running your application through ACT (Application Compatibility Toolkit)? Tried creating a "Shim"? Might be worth a look if you can't pry your "cold dead fingers" away from the archaic software.
