Look for Profile

Is there a registry key that only exists if the user logging in already has a profile on the machine? And the reverse.....if the user has Never logged in to the machine the reg key would not exist.

The default Outlook profile key will not work for us so we need another key.

Google for ProfileList. I think it lives under the 'Windows NT\CurrentVersion' branch.

You'll also need a SID-to-user/User-to-SID look-up function, as the list entries are stored as SIDs. There's a VBS knocking about to do that. I think it's on cruto.com.

mhsl808 - if you need it, I can send you a Wisescript that will pull the usernames from this section of the registry. It's quite handy if you need to delete files from all profiles.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
