Listbox elements determin the installed features

Hi

I made a dialog with a list box inside. The texts inside are : system1 and system2
What i want is that the selection of a text determines which feature to install, for ex.: if system1 is selected Feature "A" should be installed. If system2 is selected then feature "A" will not be installed.

Could it be done with Windows Installer Editor? and how? or do i need a script to achieve this scenario?

p.s. I have no idea about scripting...in case scripting is needed then i also need help with scripting

Sorry for asking too much...Thanks in advance

Regards

although this is entirely achievable one would ask why you dont just use the feature dialog page.

That's right with Feature dialog it's easier...But i want that the setup looks more user friendly to the user.

Can you help realizing this scenario?

Thanks for your reply

although I haven't done this, I'm guessing you would need to set a control event on the dialog which sets properties.

then use the condition table to modify the featurelevel to a value lower than your default INSTALLEVEL
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
