Limiting user access / inventory views by label

I know we should be using organisations for this however organisations bring in some extra admin work ..

Our business has a number of franchisee owned sites, we will be rolling KACE to these sites as part of our inventory / deployment and consistancy program (since we support them ), it's been suggested that we give franchisee's access to KACE (read only), can this be done via label? IE a logon can only see machine's with the label "Fz_01" based on their machine name?

We have over 40 franchisee's so the idea of creating organisations then replicating labels and reports across all 40 (labels and reports dont seem to copy that well between organisations, dont know if I did something wrong but the labels and reports I exported / imported a few days ago didnt work and had to be rebuilt) and ensuring that everything is the same is going to be a significant and expensive admin responsibility which I would rather avoid.

It doesn't work this way. You can give them read-only access to Inventory, but you cannot limit visibility of machines by label. It's either read-only for ALL of your inventory or nothing.

You are correct - you should use organizations for this.
