Learning SQL for KACE

Hello all,

As I continue to get more and more requests from management to do modifications to our KACE environment, the more I need training in SQL. Especially that relates to KACE. Can anyone recommend a training program to learn SQL so I can do these custom modifications without having to pay Dell KACE professional services? Any help or tips you can provide would be much appreciated. I'm located in west Georgia, USA.

Thank you.

Download TOAD as a toolbox from Dell, this tool really helped us to get a grip on SQL when building queries etc

Here's a great place to start:

If you are attending the Software User Forum there will some SQL classes there.

If you want to learn general MySQL skills then any class should be helpful. I'm a self learner so I use the MySQL documentation a lot. If you haven't already setup MySQL Workbench then I highly recommend doing that and start poking around in the tables.

Head First SQL: Your Brain on SQL -- A Learner's Guide

I purchased the above book and it helped me with some of the items I was struggling with. Using this book along with being able to test using my sql workbench really helped a lot.
If you are looking for a deep dive into SQL then there are a lot of online classes that you could take also.
