LDAP fails to import users "LDAP supplied credentials Failed"
I cannot get LDAP settings to work in order to import users. Below it looks to me that the credentials I am entering for are incorrect. I have tried two ways of entering credentials.
1. CN=Administrator,CN=Users,DC=DOMAIN-DM,DC=org
2. DOMAIN-DM\administrator
I enter the Base DN as:
OU=EXD Directorate Users,DC=DOMAIN-DM,DC=org
=====RESULTS====
Testing LDAP Label Settings...
Testing "User Server" connection to: server-ad on Port: 389
OK: Connection Successful.
OK: Setting Protocol Version 3 Successful.
OK: Setting LDAP REFERRALS Option 0 Successful.
Error: Search Bind using LDAP supplied credentials Failed.
Error: LDAP Test Failed. Closing connection.
====END RESULTS====
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Error: LDAP Test Failed. Closing connection.
this means the provided username/password for the bind user are wrong (ie mistyped password!)
the user you are using need to be able to read the domain.
domain\user is preferred, but both ways work
