latitude 7200 2-in-1 pxe boot problems

  Hey people

I've been trying to pxe boot a dell latitude 7200 2 in 1 laptop into the k2000.

I can't get it to work.

It has no ethernet port, so I'm using a type-c to ethernet adapter to try to boot

into the kace kbe, but no luck.

I have tried all the methods for these machines that don't have built-in Ethernet adapters.

--- I have enabled UEFI network stack......

--- enabled USB boot.......

--- I have enabled all the thunderbolt configurations......

What am I missing here?

once I pxe boot into the "USB nic IPV4"

it says "no bootable device found"

But all my other machines can find the kace KBE.

  • Do you have a DELL Docking Station or a USB A to Ethernet Adapter to test? - Channeler 4 years ago
  • Also which ever adaptor you end up using are the drivers within your KBE? If not you need to add in and rebuild your KBE to get the device to connect - Hobbsy 4 years ago

I saved this screenshot back in 2017, in my files... Unfortunately I did not saved the LINK:

This helped me with a USB-C Adapter with iPXE.

Also, I would check with DELL, if there is a new firmware that can be flashed into that Dongle as well.
Make the sure the BIOS is up to date.
