$last_attachment is just the file name and not the link

Is there a variable in the K1000 version 6.3 to sent the end use the attachment I attach to the ticket or at least a link to the attachment?  It seems the variable $last_attachment only works in the "Comment Submitted" notification email event and even then that only sends the attachment name and size (Not helpful at all ! )

I have been playing around with all the variables and I see that when I use $ticket_history the places where there are attachments in the history it does show a full URL path to an attachment.  For instance if my K1000 was helpdesk.mydomain.com and the attachment was myfile.pdf then the full history shows this:

https://helpdesk.mydomian.com/packages/hd_attachments/myfile.pdf.c4bc0b7773d4fb8f2bbfda269869e619

How do I get the link to the attachment into a email response to the end user without having to put the full history every time?
