Can anyone offer a script to remote start the KBOX SMMP Mgmt Service? "C:\Program Files\KACE\KBOX\KBOXSMMPService.exe"
I have some clever users that are stopping the service or even disabling it.

psexec sc start KBOXSMMP

Think thats the service name, but unfortunately I'm on a windows 7 box atm and don't have it running.

PSEXEC is a tool from MS. You could also do a policy to enforce that the service runs.

Setup a logon script to start the service - you could even run a small application that loops and attempts to start the service if it is turned off. If you've got users messing with services, you may want to consider locking your users down to the Power User role. You're not going to be able to lockdown systems with people running as local administrators - no matter what you come up with, they'll always be able to figure out a way around it.
