Keep Maintenance Agreements in K1000

Has anyone or is it possible to keep records of maintenance agreements in the K1000 and create notifications (email) prior to expiration ?

  • You can use the Assets module to keep records of the product along with custom fields on when agreements expires and then use either the reporting or notification modules you sent you information on them based on a schedule. - nshah 8 years ago

We use our K1 to store customer maintenance, we have a simple asset type of Support Contract created with a number of information fields. These fields include an expiry date. We then run a monthly report that tells us which accounts will expire in the next month so that we can take necessary action....simple
