Kace Ticket handling; long unnecessary quotes

Hi. We use Kace K1000 ticket handling system. I've worked with other ticket systems earlier, but not Kace.

The users gets an email when a ticket is updated and replies to this email.

1) I am having problem seeing which tickets that has new information. A column with last update person might help.. or a filter showing all open tickets where the owner is not the last updater of information. How have you guys solved this?

2) The ticket is containing soo much quoted text if there has been 4 replies. Is there any way for Kace to just keep the actual information, not saving the quote text?

  • For item #1, this will have to be a report.

    As we do not automate reply processing, I can't speak to item #2. - grayematter 10 years ago
