KACE SDA - How to Disable Guest Access on SAMBA Share?

In our IT environment, we apply a GPO that disallows insecure guest logons (Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Network\Lanman Workstation\Enable insecure guest logons = Disabled).

We use KACE SDA for deploying Windows installations. KACE SDA offers a SAMBA share (e.g., \\KSDA) containing the folders ClientDrop, Drivers, Drivers_PostInstall, Restore, and the hidden folder PETEMP, which is very useful for various reasons.
This share is accessible with an "admin" account whose password is set in KACE SDA. However, there is no setting to disable guest access, which blocks access to the \\KSDA share in Windows due to the GPO.

  • Is there a way to bypass this block and allow access to \\KSDA despite the GPO (via another GPO, a setting in KACE SDA, or otherwise)?
  • Does QUEST plan to modify this in a future version of KACE SDA, as it has already done in KACE SMA (Settings\Control Panel\Security Settings\Configure SAMBA\Disable Guest Access)?

Thank you for your help!
