I'd like to make all techs have a default view of not only their open tickets but all of the unassigned tickets in their queue.
For example:
Joe is a network team member and his queue is the "Network Ops" queue.  He has 5 tickets he is working on currently and there are 2 unassigned tickets.

Is there a way for him to sign into KACE and have his default view be his open tickets, and all of the unassigned tickets in Network Ops?  (should see a total of 7 tickets in his view)

One of the default views in the View By menu should be that view. If you use the adminui then this link should pull up that view:
This will show tickets for all queues (QUEUE_ID=0). To show just a specific queue change the URL to the correct queue ID.

  • Awesome! I never even saw that link. But my users don't have the admin login view. How do I give my standard users this view?
    • There is probably a similar view in the User UI, just login with /userui instead of /user and you can get the URL for it.
      • There is - Ill look for how to set it as the default for everyone unless you want to tell me :)
